Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of My Resume ATS ("the Service", "we", "us"), including our resume builder, portfolio pages, job board, and related features. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

My Resume ATS helps candidates build ATS-optimised resumes, publish a portfolio, and search and apply for jobs. It helps companies post job listings, review applicants, and manage hiring workflows. Some features are powered by third-party AI models to generate suggested content (such as summaries) or estimate how well a resume matches a job listing.

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• You must provide accurate, current information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• The Service supports two account types — candidate and company — each with features scoped to that role. A separate administrative role is used internally to operate the platform, including reviewing account and subscription data to support and maintain the Service; administrative accounts are not available through public registration.

You retain ownership of the resume content, portfolio content, and any other material you upload or create. By applying to a job listing, you authorize the posting company to view your resume and application details for the purpose of evaluating your candidacy. By publishing a portfolio, you authorize it to be publicly viewable at the URL you choose.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of your resume, portfolio, and application content — including any skills, education, work experience, or other qualifications you list — whether written by you or accepted from an AI-generated suggestion. Do not include false or misleading information. We do not verify candidate-submitted content and are not responsible for any consequences arising from inaccurate or false information you choose to include.

• You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the job listings you post, including compliance with applicable employment and anti-discrimination laws.
• You may only use candidate information obtained through the Service (resumes, applications, contact details) for legitimate recruiting and hiring purposes, and must not sell, share, or use it for any unrelated purpose.
• All hiring decisions are made solely by you. A "Verified" badge indicates limited checks performed by our team, such as confirming basic company information — it is not a full background check, credential verification, or endorsement of the company's legitimacy, financial standing, or business practices. Beyond this limited check, we do not screen, verify, or endorse job listings or the companies that post them.

Content generated with AI assistance (such as suggested resume summaries or candidate-job match scores) is provided for convenience only. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated content before relying on it, and we do not guarantee that it will improve your chances of being hired, shortlisted, or passing any employer's applicant tracking system.

AI suggestions do not add or invent facts about you and are not a substitute for your own judgment — you remain responsible for ensuring any AI-assisted wording you keep is accurate before including it in your resume or application.

The Service requires an active paid subscription to use most features — there is no free tier. Candidates choose between Standard and Pro plans; companies subscribe to a Company plan that includes a monthly allowance of candidate resume views, with the option to purchase additional view credits. Plan features, limits, and pricing are presented to you before you subscribe. We may change plan features, limits, or pricing prospectively, with reasonable notice for existing subscribers.

You agree not to:

• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
• Post job listings that are fraudulent, discriminatory, or unlawful;
• Upload content that infringes another party's intellectual property or privacy rights;
• Attempt to access another user's account, or probe, scan, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure;
• Scrape or harvest data from the Service beyond normal use of its features.

The Service, including its design, templates, and underlying software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the content you own (your resume, portfolio, and profile content), nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our trademarks, templates, or software.

The Service relies on third-party providers to operate — for example, to send transactional email, to host our database and application, to process payments, and to generate AI-assisted content. Your use of features backed by these providers is also subject to their respective terms, to the extent applicable.

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure for us or other users.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will result in employment outcomes for candidates or successful hires for companies. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by posting a notice on the Service or updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
